European Diesel Services are a fully independent company created in 1994. We specialise in the support of Ruston, Bergen, Paxman VP185 and Allen diesel and gas engines providing spare parts, service and support to a customer base in over 100 countries.

We were established by a former Ruston Diesels Senior Service Engineer to offer a complete support solution to operators of Ruston and English Electric diesel and gas engines in Marine/Fast Ferry, Power Generation, Rail Traction, Offshore, and Naval applications. To this day the company continues to employ ex-Ruston / MAN Engineering and Technical staff and now prides itself on having the world’s largest inventory of New & Reconditioned parts and previously owned engines (over 60 at the last count!) for the Ruston RK engine range, allowing us to offer an unrivalled Parts & Service package to operators worldwide.

We have our own in house team of ex-Ruston / MAN, Bergen, Wartsila and CAT/MaK Service Engineers who are available for overhaul or repair projects worldwide. We can supply to any requirement, from a specialist to oversee local engineers right up to an including full teams of specialist service engineers for repairs and maintenance contracts that are on a time constrained or breakdown basis.
