Paxman / MAN 12VP185 engines arrive

European Diesel Services (EDS) are delighted to have received additional Paxman VP185 engines and spare parts to their VP185 inventory.

The new arrivals consist of 3 off 12VP185TCM marine engines. One of them was previously fully rebuilt, including the fitting of a new Crankshaft, by the local MAN workshop under class supervision. The engine has not been used since. One of the other engines is in full working order and the third is good for spare parts.

The engine power is 2100 KW at 1800 RPM.

Also included in the shipment was a tool kit and a quantity of major spare parts including Pistons, Cylinder Heads, Cylinder Liners, Fuel Injector Units and a large amount of consumable parts such as Bearings, Piston Rings and Seals.

These latest arrivals bring the number of Paxman VP185 engines purchased by EDS in recently years to more than a dozen with a mixture of 18VP185 Marine and Industrial Engines as well as 12VP185 Marine and Industrial Engines.
