Arrival of 6 off Ruston 8RKC Generators

We have recently removed, shipped and received 6 off Ruston 8RKC Generator Sets that had been used for power generation duties on the Royal Navy Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) vessel Fort Victoria. The engines were removed from RFA Fort Victoria while she was in dry dock at Cammel Laird yard undergoing a complete refit programme.

All the sets were brought back to our premises in Wigan where two of them have already been used as donor spare parts for customer requirements. A number of the engines had recently been overhauled prior to being taken out of service.

The power rating of the sets is 1800KW at 900RPM and they are available as complete units ‘as is’, for spare parts or they can be fully overhauled and rebuilt to ‘As New’ condition if required.
